Kybella

A Non-Surgical Treatment For Double Chins

Kybella Northern Kentucky

Kybella® is an injectable treatment that is designed to reduce submental fullness. This is the accumulation of fat that causes a double chin appearance.

The Kybella treatment is a series of injections that destroy fat cells. The body then naturally removes the cells, eliminating their ability to accumulate fat. Kybella also tightens the skin, giving it a more youthful appearance. The treatment is long lasting, with a majority of patients reporting high satisfaction even after two years.

Is Kybella Right For Me?

You could be a candidate for Kybella if you’re in good health and haven’t had surgery on your neck or chin. If you feel self-conscious because fat under the chin makes you look older or heavier, Kybella may be a good non-surgical choice. Many patients have good diet and exercise habits, but those don’t always affect submental fat. Kybella may be the answer.

Kybella works well for both women and men.

What Should I Expect With The Treatment?

The first step is a consultation where our medical staff will evaluate the area under your chin and your neck. We will then map out a treatment plan. Kybella is administered in multiple treatments, typically around a month apart. In each treatment, multiple injections are made in the area under and around your chin.

The process takes 20-30 minutes, and you may experience some swelling or bruising that will resolve pretty quickly. Patients can typically continue daily routines after treatment

The number of treatments varies from patient to patient, but there are no more than six treatments.

What Are The Results?

Noticeable results are apparent for most patients after two treatments. Kybella works gradually, so improvements continue after the treatment procedure. And many patients report positive results and appearance improvement even two years after the treatment.
