#WhatIsWednesday: What is the Plasma Pen?

What is Plasma Pen?

Plasma Pen is an FDA-approved minimally invasive treatment that tightens and smooths skin by stimulating collagen production. Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body. One of its main functions is providing structure to your skin. As we age, your body produces less collagen; meaning your skin becomes less firm. Using a tiny needle, the Plasma Pen stimulates a series of specific points around a line or wrinkle, producing an immediate tightening of the skin.

What can the Plasma Pen be used to treat?

The Plasma Pen can be used to treat the following areas: crow’s feet, forehead lines, acne scars, jowl lines, neck lines, smoker’s/lipstick lines, stretch marks, eyelids, and more.

What can I expect from a Plasma Pen?

Some results can be noticed immediately following treatment, but continued healing/collagen production takes place over the course of about three months, giving way to long-lasting results. For the first few days following the procedure, there will be a series of dots at the treatment site. But these will shed in approximately 4 – 10 days, revealing tighter, rejuvenated skin.

What is the cost of the Plasma Pen?

At Zero Gravity, Plasma Pen treatments can range from $400 to $1,500, depending on the treated area.
